The inaugural class of The 13th Man Leadership Academy is 13 students strong, each bringing their A-game to every session throughout the nine-month curriculum. Career interests from the group range from engineers and entrepreneurs to Hollywood directors. Hobbies and interests run the gamut from robotics and martial arts to journalism and media arts. And, of course we have promising athletes who hail from various sports such as baseball, basketball, lacrosse, and track and field.
Despite their varied backgrounds, this baker’s dozen has a lot in common—namely the desire to take ownership and direction of their life, or boss up. As they embark on their journey together, the Leadership Academy is proud to introduce these hopeful young men and share their thoughts on why the Academy, and why now. Remember their names because we know they’re going to reach for all the stars and go very far.
